Headwaters Journal going digital!!

The Ferdinand Hayden Chapters newsletter, Headwaters Journal is going digital! We will begin distributing the newsletter via email and our website with the next issue.

Costs of printing and mailing the Headwaters Journal to our membership have become prohibitive. With over 500 members each issue costs $600 to $800 to produce and mail. That’s about $6,400 a year and growing. If we go to a monthly newsletter the cost would be nearly $10,000 annually. We would much rather spend these funds on the river and on TU’s mission. It also saves a lot of trees, energy and other resources that we can help conserve through the internet.

It will also give us the opportunity to use more photographs and other graphics that work so much better in a digital format!

We will be sending out the newsletter to individual members if we have your email address. You can send that information to us and we absolutely will not share it with anyone else without your permission. For those who still don’t want to give us their email the Headwater Journal will be available on line at the chapter web site, www.hayden008.org. We will also continue to drop of hard copies at the local fly shops and other venues.

Help us with this transition to the digital age, and help us keep you informed on what the chapter, CTU and national TU are doing.
